Taryn Southern is a digital anthropologist, storyteller, and AI artist whose work explores the intersection of emerging tech and humanity. Her feature documentary debut, I AM HUMAN, follows three humans with implantable brain interfaces and debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. Taryn also composed the first solo pop album, I AM AI, which hit the radio charts in 2019 and has won numerous awards. She is Chief Storytelling Officer at Blackrock Neurotech where her efforts have helped the company raise more than $300m to restore function to people with paralysis and other neurological disorders.
