James Fauntleroy
Founder & Record Producer
James Fauntleroy is a four times Grammy winner, and is perhaps best known for co-writing Bruno Mars' Grammy-winning album, 24K Magic, including the ten times platinum 'That’s What I Like'. He's also written, produced and collaborated across nine of Chris Brown's songs, over 20 of Justin Timberlake's songs, over ten songs for Rihanna, five of Beyonce's songs, and Jay Z's 'On The Run'. He's also featured across Drake's, Big Sean's, Kendrick Lamar's, J. Cole's, Nas', Travis Scott's and ASAP Rocky's discography.
A co-founder of the 1500 Sound Academy, James' efforts saw students attend at a local, national and global level – from all over the Inglewood, CA, and beyond, across the nation and around the globe – to learn about engineering, producing, branding, publishing, business, and songwriting from expert guest speakers, with a curriculum that includes practical, musical and technical training.
Alongside music, Fauntleroy has a background that spans 3D modeling, web design, and coding. In 2022, he collaborated with Disney for their 100th Anniversary, to design the Disney 100 Mickey Mouse: Icon of Wonder – expressed as both a 12ft statue, and a special edition run of smaller replicas.
