Chris Jones is Director of Technology & Analysis at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. He leads the UK's international strategy and engagement on critical and emerging technologies such as AI and Quantum. Chris is responsible for the use of data, data science and analytics throughout the FCDO’s work, ensuring resources are focussed to achieve the most effective impact. Chris was the Prime Minister’s Deputy Representative for the first international AI Safety Summit and holds a BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
